Function of automatic emptying of the collection bin

The function of automatic emptying of the collection bin will offer you a comfort experience that you have never had before. Roomba s9 combined with the Clean Base charging and cleaning base will make you forget about your cleaning needs for weeks. The dirt collection bag inside the base can absorb up to 30 robot bins. Its practical design prevents dirt from spreading back into the environment. When the bag needs to be replaced you are notified by the indicator light on the base.

Superior Aeroforce 3-stage cleaning system

The iRobot Roomba s9 is equipped with a 3-stage cleaning system, which concentrates the air flow in a thin slot between the rotating brushes. This instantly accelerates the air flow and in combination with a high performance motor with Power Boost motor increases the suction power up to forty times.

1. Top side brush
This special curved side brush of the robot has 5 arms and can perfectly clean areas around your furniture, along walls, in corners as well as other hard-to-reach places.

2. Two wide Aeroforce brushes that rotate in opposite directions
Patented system of two counter-rotating rubber brushes with special points that pick up dirt from all types of hard floors and carpets. On hard floors, the brushes drive the dirt directly into the collection bin. When carpets are cleaned, dirt is released from the carpet fibers and then collected. Roomba s9 brushes are 30% wider so Roomba can clean 30% faster than all lower models

3. Powerful suction motor
The absorption of fine dust is ensured by a powerful motor. Air filtration is performed by a highly efficient Aeroforce filter, which captures 90% of pollen and allergens.

iAdapt 3.0 navigation with smart Imprint mapping

The most advanced navigation system iAdapt 3.0 with camera is capable of perfectly cleaning areas of unlimited size. Using advanced vSLAM navigation technology, the robot receives more than 230,400 items per second and thanks to Imprint smart mapping technology it can recognize individual rooms. Once Roomba saves the map in the application, you can set the boundaries of the separate rooms, name them and set a cleaning schedule for each room. You thus have absolute control, always and from everywhere, of when and where the robot will clean. The robot has the ability to store up to 10 different maps.

iRobot HOME

You can manage cleaning practically from anywhere with the iRobot HOME app. You can comfortably control your robot using a smartphone or tablet from almost everywhere, for example from your work or during vacation. Just press the CLEAN button and the robot starts working. The iRobot HOME app also offers you other useful functions and important information.

Through the Message Center you regularly receive suggestions on where to place no-access zones on the maps. From the historical data of the cleaning cycles the robot will know where it usually “gets stuck” and the points where the user can place no-access zones will be suggested. The user can cancel and not place these no-access zones or resize them before saving them.

Operation of restricted zones

The no-zones feature allows you to choose an unlimited number of areas that Roomba avoids when cleaning. You can make this choice on the map of the iRobot HOME application. The minimum size of such a zone is 60×60 cm. This function is convenient, for example, to protect the dog’s bowl. However, there are many more areas where you might want to use this feature. The feature replaces virtual walls and obstacles, which were used in older robots and lower model series.

Communication with the robotic mop iRobot Braava m6

The Roomba s9+ can communicate with the Braava jet m6 robotic mop. Thanks to this revolutionary feature, Roomba first vacuums a given area and once it’s done, it automatically sends an instruction to Braava, which then mops the previously vacuumed area. The combination of these two robots ensures the cleaning of complex floors without having to be present, thus offering unprecedented comfort in household cleaning.

Power Boost function

Roomba s9+ safely distinguishes when it steps up to carpet and thanks to the Power Boost function, it automatically maximizes suction power up to 40 times*. The Power Boost function can also be controlled using the iRobot HOME app, which allows you to set the suction power to 4 different modes.

Charging function while cleaning

Roomba s9 intelligently monitors its battery charge level. When needed, it automatically heads to the charging base. When it charges again, it continues cleaning right where it left off until the job is done. It uses a lithium battery and its benefit is the increased capacity of 3,300mAh and the long life.

Sensors against falling from the stairs

Sensors installed at the bottom of the robot safely recognize the empty space below them, thus completely excluding the possibility of the robot falling from the stairs or other elevated places.

Washable Aeroforce collection bin

Roomba has a washable collection bin, which is much easier to maintain.

Spot program - ideal solution for spot cleaning

The very practical SPOT program will eliminate localized impurities. After manual activation, the robot will thoroughly clean a space of 1 m² in diameter, for example, if you spill sugar in the kitchen or want to clean your hall comfortably.

Soft touch bumper

The soft touch bumper is kind to your furniture. It can single out apparent obstacles such as bedspreads or curtains and thus clean effectively even under the bed or around curtains.
