TwinBooster

Booster Function for rapid heating with Miele’s exclusive TwinBooster function, you can concentrate the power of two cooking zones into a single cooking zone if required. Or you can distribute the induction power individually for even more flexible cooking.

Easy operation with SmartSelect

With SmartSelect you can set power levels and times quickly and easily. The white screen with the particularly high contrast makes the settings easier to read. Hobs with SmartSelect White controls also have the same practical functions as SmartSelect, such as easy-to-use time selection.

Full surface

Enjoy complete freedom by using the full surface of your hob without pre-defined cooking zones for maximum flexibility. You can place your utensils wherever you wish depending on the occasion. Up to six pots, pans and induction grills can be placed wherever you want.

Smart control Con@ctivity 3.0

Concentrate completely on cooking! With Con@ctivity 3.0, the vacuum cleaner knows exactly what to do. As soon as you turn the hob on or off, the hood reacts automatically. The extraction power is automatically adjusted according to what is happening on the stove, always creating a pleasant atmosphere. The devices communicate with each other via WiFi. Con@ctivity 3.0 allows you to integrate the hood and hob into Miele@home.

DiamondFinish

Thanks to DiamondFinish, your hob stays like new for longer. The special ceramic glass coating significantly reduces scratches. DiamondFinish is twice as durable as conventional ceramic glass surfaces. Scratches caused by sand are reduced by 95% and scratches by abrasive sponges by 70%. At the same time, the gloss gives your stove elegance.

Stop & Go

Are they knocking on your door? With the Stop&Go function, all cooking zones can be lowered to level one at the touch of a button. In this way, the hob can be left unattended for a short time, without the food being overcooked or burnt. When you return to the hearth, all the hearths are reactivated to their previous tier, again at the touch of a button.

Safety switch-off

A maximum duration of operation is set for each tier. When a cooking zone operates at the same power level for an unusually long time, it switches itself off automatically.

Intelligent detection

With the intelligent pan recognition, the control elements move according to the position of the pans on the hobs. The control field is only visible if a pan is placed. The numeric display will appear when you move the pan. The size recognition function facilitates highly efficient energy use. The KM 7897 FL full-surface hob features the function of smart utensil recognition.
