Maximum torque with 3 functions

Turn it to position R to turn the screws to the right and tighten them*.
Turn it to the middle locking position to tighten or loosen the screws freely*.
Turn it to position L to turn the screws to the left and loosen them*.

The above figures and instructions for R and L positions are only applicable to commonly used clockwise screws.
